Eagles volleyball vs. Crescent City

The Saunemin Eagles volleyball team hosted Crescent City on Thursday. The 7th grade squad pulled off the victory in 2 games 25-17 and 25-13. Kenzie Roahrig led the Eagles with 11 points and 3 aces. Ashley Harfst added 9 points and 2 aces. Destiney Riley had 6 points. Cassie Einhaus added 5 points and 2 aces. Hannah Slown added 3 points. Molly Ruddy rounded out the scoring with 2 points. This win makes 5 victories in a row for the young Eagles team! Way to go!
The 8th grade team lost in 2 games 13-25 and 18-25. Becca Lee led the Eagles with 5 points and 4 aces. Sarah Albertson also had 5 points with 2 aces. Bethany Horrie added 3 points. Danielle Miller and Rachel Brakeville each had 1 point and 1 ace.
