Math Can Be Fun!

Borrowing, carrying, time, and money are fun but a lot of work! 2nd grade is now studying shapes and their properties using pattern blocks and geoboards. We had a great time recently using straws and clay to build our own three dimensional shapes. We counted sides and corners of assigned shapes and had even more fun making up our own shapes. Thanks to Mrs. Josefik for being an extra set of hands during math time!
